Inkjet - UK / Poland - 2016
Inkjet works on copier paper using 3d modelling software and video stills from games and movies. The works were assembled in public spaces, temporary installations responding to identity and place.
I wanted to make digital works but then turn them into physical paper pieces in street situations, with people walking past and ignoring them. To show some visibility to the digital technology that tends to be hidden, by making photocopy prints and sticking them around it was like hidden in plain sight. An interesting contradiction of how something seemingly invisible is gaining such a powerful influence on how we live and move around.
